Description:

I think he is a tree sparrow, but I am not exactly sure. Some ID help from all of you experts out there would be greatly appreciated. :)

Habitat:

I see quite a few of these birds in and around the home improvement store (Menards) that I work at. It seems that they are pretty common around southeastern Minnesota.

Notes:

This little guy hopped onto the column outside my dorm window while I was studying. He was VERY patient as I looked for my new camera, figured out the settings, and snapped a few pictures of him. :) I wanted to try to get a picture of him when he took off, but he was too fast for me.
