Parmelia sulcata
A light green to grey lichen that is flat and lobed. Generally fans out from center position.
Spotted on a maple tree in a thick wooded forest.
Net-marked parmelia (Parmelia sulcata), or Shield lichen, is a foliose lichen in the family Parmeliaceae. It is very tolerant of pollution and has a cosmopolitan distribution, making it one of the most common lichens. It harbours a unicellular Trebouxia green algal symbiont.-Wikipedia
