Dracaena sanderiana
The plant is a perennial herb that grows to a height of 100 cm (39 in) and has slightly twisted grey-green leaves that can be up to 23 cm long (9 in). It differs from bamboo because its stem is fleshy. It necessitates bright, well-ventilated spaces. It can withstand dry air and doesn't require frequent spraying. It is a tenacious plant that is difficult to eradicate.
Native to Cameroon in tropical west Africa. In it's natural habitat it grows with the understory plants in the tropical forest.
