The toads in this image are different color morphs of the same species. They are each about half the size of a fully-grown adult, and the receding tail bumps show that these individuals are not yet fully mature.

Habitat:

Rural and urban grasslands adjacent to permanent or seasonal bodies of water (to facilitate spawning).
