Description:

Native plant from the pea family (Fabaceae). Climbing vine with pinnately trifoliate leaves (smooth and ovate). Light purple resupinate flowers and long, green, bean-like pods.

Habitat:

Partial sun, well-drained (with good mulch) area near oaks and loblolly pines. Lots of nearby fungi.
