What a sweet deer, and from such an interesting angle!

Dama dama is a Eurasian species and not found in Costa Rica. To my knowledge there are only 2 species of deers: Red Brocket Deer (Mazama americana) and White-tailed Deer (Odocoileus virginianus). From the colors and markings I would tend to White-tailed Deer, which is also more common.

Hello Alin,

I dont think that's the right species, this one is found in the Costa Rican forests, it is just a baby.

Thanks!
