Weaver Ant or Orange Gaster

Description:

Individuals are orange in color. They are aggressive with strong bite. They usually form nest in trees leaves (such mango, rambutan, etc.). The pupa and larvae are white in color. Both of them are processed into bird food, fish bait, and sometime medicine in Indonesia and Thailand.
