About 2 inches, but something tell me that it has the capacity of grows up significantly more than that. I'm searching about and right now I guess it's a kind of Phoneutria (Brazilian wandering spiders, armed spiders, banana spiders, etc...; here it's called aranha-armadeira), by the eyes' arrangement. Seems to me that only eight species have been scientifically described so far, including the most poisonous spider of the world according to Guinness Book (added as reference). Well, if so, here I think I have the world's most beautiful Phoneutria, an ornamental one, by the way. ;)

Its docility caught my attention. Very, very calm and definitely not an aggressive species - what we would see as the opposite of Phoneutria. I rescued it today from a huge invasion of black carnivorous ants (army ants). I have not found any similarity with the eight species we have.

It is absolutely not Phoneutria, but seems to be another genus in same Family Ctenidae, many of which share very similar eye pattern. It's lovely, but not Phoneutria.
