Common House Gecko

Hemidactylus frenatus

Description:

The Common House Gecko is often seen crawling on walls of houses & buildings in search of insects, particularly near lights. The House Gecko's coloration is grayish or pinkish brown. This tint can be uniform in color, or more or less distinctly marbled with darker markings.

Habitat:

Native to southeastern Asia. Common in the Southern U.S., South and Central America, Africa, Asia, Middle East. Warm humid areas.
