Callyspongia plicifera
Photo take at -60 ft in a Caribbean reef, is one of the most colorful sponges in the world. Shaped like a vase, with many grooves and pits on the outside, it grows to 18 inches tall color varies from purple to yellowish.
It inhabits coral reefs in the Caribbean, Bahamas, and Florida. Usually solitary but occasionally can be found with side tubes.
