Description:

Similar to the nuthatch.
Small song bird that on the backside is different shades of brown streaks that help it blend with the bark. The underside is white. The bill is long and curves downward which helps it get into to tight places.

Habitat:

Mostly oak trees but can be found most trees with heavy bark.
