Rhynocoris erythropus
Assassin bugs are a carnivorous insect attacking with a deadly rostrum (mouth part) which injects venomous saliva through the exoskeleton of their insect prey, liquifying their insides so that they may be ingested. The legs and body have a number of sticky hairs which help them to hold on to their prey whilst attacking and feeding. The black and orange warning colouration helps to warn of possible predators.
