Horsehair Worm

Nematomorpha

Description:

A straight line with a touch of black at each end.

Habitat:

Creek

Notes:

This creature twirled like a snake but looks like a stick. I found it underwater and couldn't believe how it looked. Just a straight line with a touch of black on each end. After it died it curled up and I took the picture.
