My wildlife expert colleagues in Xalapa tell me it's a Millipede
(Order Polydesmida).. and around 5 different people told me this..

This was in my shower for a week when I first arrived to Xalapa (well Coatepec) I am from UK so never seen anything like it before. I honestly thought it was a hairclip until one day it started to move!!

It's not venomous at all. Some millipedes have chemical defense, but to handle this one would not be harmful.

This is actually a millipede, as they have 2 pairs of legs on most body segments. Centipedes only have 1 pair on most segments.
