Long-tailed Macaque

Description:

Female long-tailed macaque. A richer brown on upper body and dusty brown on most of it. Slight crest on head. Unfortunately, wasn't able to get shot of it's long tail!

Habitat:

This monkey lives in the tropical forested area on Penang Hill, Malaysia. It came down to the roadside raiding trash bins and snatching food from tourists.

Notes:

I wish there were signs posted not to feed the monkeys. It's so bad for them! And please note that Georgetown is not in the state of Kedah (as on the map location) but in Penang State.
