This was growing at ground level - would cabbage palm grow like that?
'NoelOrtega - our guide did say something about this being used as a roofing material. I saw this in Mexico - is there anahaw in Mexico?

we call it anahaw.. it is our national leaf. it used as roof of our native houses. :D
