I think its a larvae or a pupae, its very similar to the 28-spotted ladybird beetle (or ladybug) also called Hadda beetle. Not alot of websides show the pupae with the white spikes so id say that it needs further research. Some species of aphid in my opinion, but I can't be sure.
Please give the name or picture of the host plant to aid in the identification of your spotting.
