Larus glaucescens
This gull was much bigger than the ring billed gull ,which i am so used to seeing at this pond. It had pink feet.
Thanks so much Liam. Glaucous wings it is.Please convey my thanks to your special group of friends! They are amazing and i am very grateful for the valuable feedback from you and them.
The gull expert has spoken. He says Glaucous-winged. I wouldn't doubt any of his IDs when it comes to gulls!http://www.whatbird.com/Forums/forums/th...
Liam ,does seem to be a herring. Pink legs is very typical of herring gulls. They hybridize too.
Thanks. And I posted a comment on that spotting already.
Liam, could you also check this out?http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/913...
Sure. Had more gray coloration overall Pink legs.Heerman?
Hmm...not so sure. Mind if I ask my gull experts?
