Description:

Also called Asiatic Water Snake. This inoffensive beautiful snake allowed me to take a few close-ups before slipping back into his hide... :-) It feeds mainly on small fish and water frogs. Adults measure approx. 3.5ft(adult) but can grow upto 5.7ft.

Habitat:

This snake is found in or near fresh water lakes or rivers.

beautiful shot.
its inoffensive if you don't bother it. Try handling and you'll surly get 2 3 bite marks for free. very short tempered one. Even though it is non-venemous, you won't like to get bittenj. :)
