Duck

Description:

Bright orange coloring suggests that a male duck, also known as a drake. The female sees this as a very attractive trait to pass on to her offspring. They are also known as the waterfowl. Some adaptations include webbed feet that help them swim and an oily coating that prevents water from settling in duck feathers.

Habitat:

They live in lakes, streams, rivers, creeks, bays, seas and oceans.

You have a Khaki Campbell Mallard (Anas domesticus) in the first pic and a Canada Goose (Branta canadensis) in the second.
