Is that what I have?
no, i don't think it's delphinium. It's flower are shaped like bonnets. Im starting to think it's a Teaxs Toadflax, Nuttallanthus texanus. any opinions?

Here's a link to a picture that looks about right. Some sort of Delphinium perhaps?
