Ceratosoma gracillimum

Ceratosoma gracillimum

Description:

This nudibranch looks similar to Ceratosoma tenue and Ceratosoma trilobatum. What makes it identifiable is the smooth region behind its head and before the lateral lobes; in other words, there's a break in the mantle.

Notes:

Spotted this nudi on a soft tree coral at a depth of about 15m. It was about 2.5cm long.
