Description:

The plant is between 10 and 20 cm high. The stem is covered with cottony hairs. The leaves are oval shaped. They are deeply cut. They are whitish and have a silky appearance. The inflorescence consists of several flower heads with yellow flowers.

Habitat:

It is an orophyte (adapted to the mountain environment). This species particularly fond of non-calcareous rocky places, screes more or less mobile.

Notes:

The species is protected in Auvergne, Rhone-Alpes and Midi-Pyrenees (in France)
