Description:

Bluets occur throughout the eastern United States in deciduous woods, old fields, and roadsides but are noticeable only when they flower in late spring. From tiny 1 inch tufts of foliage, 4 petaled pale blue flowers with yellow eyes, tower on slender stalks to 3 inches high

Habitat:

Stillhouse Hollow, Tennessee.
