Indrella ampulla

Description:

Indrella is a monotypic genus containing the single species Indrella ampulla, a tropical terrestrial air-breathing gastropod mollusk in the family Ariophantidae. It is endemic to the Western Ghats of India (wikipedia).

Habitat:

It was found during the wet season in the hilly regions of Wayanad.

Notes:

The size of the snail was almost around 14- 16 cm.
