I agree with Ashley, this looks like a wood frog. Please take a look at the link and update your spotting. :-)

What about this frog would lead you to believe it is a toad? There are many noticeable differences between the true toads (Anaxyrus sp) and the true frogs (Lithobates sp). For starters, the toads have warty skin and large paratoid glands on the sides of the head. They also have pronounced cranial crests in most cases. Your frog has none of that. Please update your spotting with the correct ID, thanks.
