Description:

Flocks migrating south are prophets of winter. There were a variety of flocks with a total of over 300. spread-out across the front of the pond. Canadian Geese are intelligent and mate for life. Family ties are strong. Flight speeds: Chased 60 miles per hour and Cruising: 20-45 miles per hour. Large: 8 to 13 lbs. Distinct honk when flying overhead.
