Description:

Large eagle, wings, back and part of tail dark grey, end of tail fetahers white, belly white, head and neck white, blue-grey beak darker above, immature birds are more brownish and mottled until gaining adult plumage. Loud call, majestic in flight. Eats a wide variety including fish, small mammals and birds, snakes, also scavenges.

Habitat:

Found in most coastal regions of Australia and some inland areas near rivers and lakes. Also found in other regions of the world including India and China.
