Description:

The Pileus is 4-12 cm broad, convex and mostly white to dull off-white. Lamellae is close, free, and white. Flesh is thick and white. Stipe is 6-12 cm long, without hairs above but silky below the ring. Can be found in abundant amounts in grassy areas like lawns, and less commonly under hardwoods and conifers. This example was solitary.

Habitat:

Can be found in forests or more commonly lawns after a rainy period in early fall.
