Forest Fighting Fish / Forest Betta

Betta pugnax

Description:

two broken dark stripes from eye to caudal peduncle. Dorsal side of body is dark brown and ventral side lighter brown.

Habitat:

Peninsular Malaysia. Found this guy sleeping at night in shallow clear fast flowing jungle stream at night and I was able to get macro shots of it with my underwater camera!
