ok :) so bullfinch it is. i wanted to see the blue sheen on its wings which is not visible on my pic. anyway thanks to both of you. ;)

yes satyen, it does look like red headed bullfinch. i think i should observe this bird more closely later on to ascertain its identity. Thank you.
