Common Evening Brown

Melanitis leda

Scott Frazier
Scott Frazier 8 years ago

Hello DHYANA. There was already a suggestion of Melanitis leda for this butterfly. The Scientific name is the heart of a "species" suggestion. The form or the sex of an individual doesn't changes the species. If you agree with a scientific name that has been suggested, then click the plus rather than add a duplicate suggestion. If you want to add additional information like "DSF" (for other users, that means "dry season form") simply add that to a comment rather than duplicate a suggestion with the same scientific name. Only the first suggestion of a given scientific name can be accepted. Thanks for your understanding.
