Karen, the spider was beige and translucent, except for the abdomen, which was a solid brown. What are some key ID things, besides eyes, for spiders?
Jacob, can you recall if it had a black & yellow pattern on its abdomen?If it did, I'm thinking this could be a Filmy dome spider (Neriene radiata) http://bugguide.net/node/view/625700/bgi...
Even though he had eight eyes, I'd say his eyes were bigger than his stomach!
Wow, that meal should keep it going for a while! I'm not sure of the ID but I will see if I can find it in my guide when I get home.
