A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Sus scrofa
I placed them under mammals because they are not kept as pets but are camped in. We had sum fun with this one, he broke out of his camp and ran the hole area of the camp grounds, before we got him back in his camp.
I think the young of Potamochoerus are much coarser http://tolweb.org/Potamochoerus/ See also 2nd photo of the spotting, the black one...
The location suggests it could be this one: Bush Pig, Potamochoerus larvatus, looks like a young one http://www.krugerpark.co.za/africa_bush_...
Scott Frazier thank you, the owner tells the people that they are Angola bush pigs but I have my doubt
This does belong in mammals but you should also add it to the "Captive Animals" mission http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/7973...
In the future we will be changing these settings so that pets and captive can be selected by separate buttons with everything allocated to its correct category.
