A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Wow I just replanted this, thinking it was some sort of hibiscus. Thank you for the insight
I've come across these while hiking through Ahupua'a Hakipu'u. Although the fruit very in color from a bright orange to a dark purple their taste remains constant. Leuba is correct with this fruit being very tart. An excellent way to wake you taste buds up.
Looks very similar to 'Ākala, Hawaiian raspberry. Are there thorns on the stems of the plant?
Wow that's a good thing to know. Mahalo Kathleen and I'll be sure to spread the knowledge
