You might have to literally pick him up while he is pooping and repeatedly place him in he letterbox until he understands. The More he gets away with it the more he will think its ok to go on the floor. But never hit a misbehaving ferret!!! They don't understand why you are hurting them. Grab by the back of the neck and yell NO or spray him right in the face wih water. Alays keep putting him in he litter box and maybe try putting small price of poo in there so he understands that's what goes in there . Make sure the pan doesn't have tall sides or he will just back up against the outside and poop just outside it.hope this helps :P
