In my experience I've seen blackberry bushes bloom like this. If you were to get a closer shot of leaves, stalk, etc. It would be easier to tell.

Judging by the coloration and the black and white pattern at the base of the body to the belly I believe it would be safe to say that this is a black Rat snake. To mention they are great climbers

It's a kudzu bug. You thank the ones in Athens ga for that one. Someone thought that they heavily eat on kudzu, so they had shipped them over to study and breed. Well it turns out they just hang out and breed amongst it. But it was too late, so we are stuck with them. Honestly I think they were trying to create a problem and knew about them before bringing them here.
