A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
I go around the U.S. doing wildlife field work (primarily with herps) and exploring the outdoors.
Bar Harbor, ME
Sign In to followCorduneanuVlad: wow, really? it looks so different..but it was right near the "fresh" ones, so it would make sense..
K cool, that's what I figured.
Thanks! Interesting, I don't remember the penstemon I saw in Colorado looking like this.
Ugh, thanks for noticing. The website was acting up. I just joined that mission and added it.
Brian: totally meant to put vole, not mole! I actually just corrected it before seeing your comment, but thanks for pointing that out. I was between prairie, meadow, or woodland vole, as those are the 3 possible species in that area. I remember I was having a lot of trouble IDing it (as I haven't had much small mammal experience) and don't recall if I came to any tentative conclusion or not.
Brian: as far as I was taught, the only species it could be of the ones in that spot is a fence lizard..but it's interesting that the maps you link to do show sightings in the counties I worked in. Why do you think it's a prairie lizard?
Gracias. Es definitivamente una passiflora, pero ese especies no esta en los Estados Unidos y no se si es un especies non-nativo qual exista en Utah. Lo siento por mi mal espanol.
Goody: oh yeah..I "knew" that. Silly me. thanks!
