I agree with Karen. With a face like that, it's definitely a jumping spider :) The very large central eyes are a characteristic of the family.
I have a horrible suspicion that the little white spots on the dark blue patches might be parasitoid eggs.
Looks like some kind of hornworm - a hawk moth (Sphingidae) caterpillar. Never seen one in quite this colour, but they do get lighter/change colour when they're close to pupating. They pupate underground, so when you saw it, it was probably looking for some dirt to burrow into.
Maybe a soldier fly of some sort? Reminds me of some species we have here in Europe.

Looks like some kind of cuckoo wasp (Chrysididae)
I can't tell you what species, but I think that's a bug nymph rather than a beetle.

@bayucca It does indeed look very similar, but I'm not sure if we have those in Berlin.. Wikipedia says they're found in southern Europe.
