Closer look at cones would help. Almost looks like a Norway Spruce. Round needles
I have seen eggs similar to this from ducks. Might fit the area.
Generally considered a pretty noxious weed. Bindweed.
Penstemon of some sort. There are many Western natives.
Twisted needles like that are usually on Scotch Pine
Both are sedum.
Something in the pea or clover family. Anymore pics that might include leaves or basal foliage?
Looks like Pinks or Sea Pinks, sometimes called. Are the round balls? Small, stiff foliage, very close to ground?
