Wow this is an incredibly endangered species. Could you give more info on where you found it, how it was growing and possibly it's uses??
It appears to be some species of theobroma (cacao) tree
Certainly has to be in the convolvulacea family. Perhaps in the ipomoea genus, but I'm entirely unsure of the species.

I apologize, my marker is inaccurate. I posted this just this morning from waimea, Hawaii, but the picture was taken in November in Waibau, Fiji on the outside edge of a rainforest.
