A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Thank you Dave and Nuwan. I think I also spotted the lighter colored ones. I will try to find the file. This one looked really darker. The first page is under a plenty late morning sunlight, taken by a 300 mm lens, and about 4 m from the object. But, it may still belong to Elymnias hypermnestra.
Thank you Dave. I will go with it.
It is in Sulawesi Island of Indonesia and almost at the tip of the northern arm of the island. It separated by Sea and islands with the Mindanao of the Philippines. The photograph is taken in Tomohon City, about 600 m above sea level.
It belongs to Amorphophallus genera (Fam.: Araceae)

I think, I am leaning toward Delias, folicallychalled.
Yeah. I was lucky. I too love the background. The reddish background is plank of a gutter. I wish I had a better aperture to increase the sharpness of the lower wings.
Thank you NuwanChathuranga (http://www.projectnoah.org/users/NuwanCh...) for the ID suggestion. I think it is the species.
Thank you, Kalee Vidanapathirana (http://www.projectnoah.org/users/Kalee+V...), for the ID suggestion.
