the plant looks like a version of the Albany Wooly Bush...Genus Adenanthos. Great picture
This gorgeous juvenile (I think) had been hit by a car, we picked her up and brought her home, kept her quiet and safe then re-released her back to trees where we found her. Hopefully she will look out for cars in the future. :)
