Sign In to followThe moth was actually pretty brown. It was early morning and the lighting was less than ideal.
Juveniles are pretty variable in color and pattern. They eat fish, lizards, frogs and when fully grown they can eat small rodents.

I took these with an almost painfully old cannon digital camera that we keep at work. I could look up the model number tomorrow at work if you would like to know specifics.
