I found a bunch of these beetles today on Hickory leaves. It must have mating season because they were doing a lot of that. When I got home I looked them up and found this entertaining blog article about them: http://jimmccormac.blogspot.com/2011/06/...
I agree with Jason Alexander, it is a Delonix regia but in Hawaii we call them Royal Poinciana.
It may be a Yellow Coral Mushroom (Ramaria aurea) but I'm no expert.
