A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
It was about the size of my thumb, if that helps to identify it.
I added some more of the photos I took since the Impala seemed pretty popular. It was very funny to watch, because there were at least 20 impala all together. At first, they seemed a bit uncertain about how deep the water really was, so they took huge leaps to try and make it to the other side as quickly as possible. Once about half of them had crossed, the others figured out that the water wasn't actually that deep and that they could easily walk across.
I spotted this close to where I saw the buffalo. I was on an African safari in Botswana. The guide said he rarely saw these kinds of antelope and told us we were lucky.
It was a part of a conservation effort, but the Rhino wasn't sedated. The conservation involved the Rhinos being watched at all times to protect them from poachers.
