Sign In to followThe habitat I live in is jungle, most all of my pictures come from my backyard or in the dense forest. We have flowers and plants of all varieties surrounding our property so I can usually find some kind of creature hiding somewhere. We live at 2800 ft. and it stays 75 degrees during the day and 70 at night. It is a insect paradise.
I believe this might be a Tarantula Wasp dragging a grasshopper away to have for dinner. Anyone confirm the wasp?
My husband and I put up a black light and a white sheet to see what kind of moths we have around here. We have lived in the Charges National Forest for the last eight years and we haven't seen half of the moths that showed up. We are now hooked on trying to see how many different moths we have here.
I live in Panama and found one of the moss mimic walking sticks yesterday. It was so awesome. Love your pictures, thanks for sharing.
Our altitude here is 2800ft and this was in our backyard. I do have some more pictures I will try and add later.
The snake looked to be around 10' and the squirrels are big here also. We had five squirrels that were eating off the bird feeders and now we have none.
It's not in Peru, I'm in Panama and I entered Panama on the location but Lima keeps coming up,
Beautiful photo, congrats...
