This is an amazing picture I actually had one as a pet and I never saw her do a defense pose such as this great picture. By the way there nonvenomous worm eaters.

I agree this little guy is adorable. I have to wonder though I don't know a lot about turtles but he looks more like a juvenile alligator snapping turtle rather than a common snapping turtle because of the very defined arches and his on his shell; whereas a common snapping turtle does have arches but they're not as defined, they tend to be more smooth.

Hello, I believe that this is an Australian redback spider- latrodectus hasselti -( caution if you did not know this is a venomous spider beware).the larger is spider is a female and the smaller is the male.

I believe this is a Sagebrush lizard-sceloporus graciosus. Length: 1 1/2 to 5 1/2 inches.
