A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
It looks like a type of Woolly Bear, possibly a Banded Woolly Bear, but I only see black on one end.
I saw one of these a few years ago and they are even more beautiful in person. It's a shame I didn't have my camera.
I looked up some images of a Cecropia Moth and I believe that's it. I remember it was the largest moths I had ever seen.
