This species is really endangered by the fungus Chytridiomicosis, it's in danger of desapearing. so if you know a place where to find them please be sure to take all the security mesures:
Desinfect all your camp material (boots, nets, boxes, etc) with Vircon or Alchool
Use gloves while touching the animals
Don't touch more than one indivial without desinfect hands or change gloves
Don't move the animals from their origin place

yes dangermouse, you are correct, is a male in reproductive season you can see that by the head and by the blue ocels above the front legs. It's algirus and not hispanicus because the scales are carenate
